Metabolism Studies -Using 14C labeled compounds

Exposure of biological systems to Xenobiotics undergo the following processes:
(1) absorption: oral, dermal, inhalation;
(2) tissue distribution (disposition);
(3) protein and tissue binding;
(4) enzymatic and non-enzymatic chemical transformation; and
(5) excretion.

Pharmacokinetics or Toxicokinetics study is performed to allow predictions of both time to maximum (tmax) and amount (Cmax), to allow prediction of duration in body after exposure terminated and to determine percent absorbed. Additionally, metabolism/residue data is required for plant protection products used in foods and exposure to food producing animals to develop the Maximum Residual Limit (MRL) and Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI).

Adgyl Lifesciences has experience and expertise in designing and conducting Metabolism studies using 14C labeled compounds and to quantify metabolites.? Adgyl has the required start-of -the art instrument and facilities to perform these studies.
